FlagBin Live is a KanBan system to manage small parts, rivets and fasteners (AGS), held in FlagBins from Hurst Green Plastics Ltd. It uses RFID technology to provide a fully automated and real time indication of the stock level of the bins. Local and remote users are alerted to the bins that require restocking via the easy to use web application or via regular email reports.

FlagBin Live will show local and remote users the stock that needs replenishing so you can prevent line stoppages.

Authorised users are alerted to the stock that needs replenishment via the easy to use and secure web application or via regular email reports that can be scheduled on an hourly, daily or weekly basis. Authorise your suppliers and customers so they can manage the supply chain for you.

The stock level indication of the bins can be gathered using any combination of the following methods:

  1. fully automated - fixed position RFID readers continually scan the bins and upload the results to FlagBin Live, giving a near real time indication of the stock level of the bins
  2. partially automated - an operative uses a handheld RFID reader or barcode scanner to read the stock level of the bins
  3. manual - the stock level of the bins is entered directly into FlagBin Live using a laptop or tablet PC
